A Scholarship has been
established in honor of Mrs. Pauline G. Besselli, a 54 year member of
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and a life long patron of the Arts. Mrs.
Besselli exemplified her gifts during her earlier years as an accomplished
“Creative dancer, as well as a dance instructor. Through out her life,
she continued to share and express her creative talents, and strongly
encouraged young people to do likewise.
The Pauline Givens-
Besselli Endowment for the Arts has been established to offer assistance
to two deserving students, of good moral character, and with an interest
in pursuing studies in the Arts, the opportunity to attend a summer
enrichment program designed for the purpose as stated. Qualification
